HOW CAN B1 AND B12 HELP?
INGREDIENTS BACKED BY SCIENCE
OUR UNIQUE B1
Normal B1 (Thiamine)
Studies have shown that Thiamine cannot be stored in the body and will flush out within approximately 4 to 5 hours. Oral intake of Thiamine over 5 mg results in greatly reduced bioavailability and also causes immediate flushing from the body (this is why urine frequently turns yellow when taking larger doses of B vitamins).
There is a special type of vitamin B called Benfotiamine. It is a fat-soluble version of vitamin B1. What does this mean? It means this special form of vitamin B1 can be taken orally in large dosages and it will not flush out of the body the way ordinary Thiamine (vitamin B1) does.
The result is that by taking Benfotiamine the blood stream levels of vitamin B1 can now be greatly increased, nutritionally supporting the body’s nerves and nervous system.
OUR UNIQUE B12
Normal B12 (Cyanocobalamin)
The most common type of vitamin B12 used in nutritional supplements is called Cyanocobalamin. Taking Cyanocobalamin can sometimes result in absorption of as little as 1/2 of 1 percent of the amount taken, which makes it almost impossible to get enough of this vitally important vitamin for neuropathy.
In addition to the very low absorption, the body must convert the Cyanocobalamin (which cannot be used by the body) to a form of vitamin B12 the body can use called Methylcobalamin. Unfortunately, as the body gets older, it can lose the ability to convert Cyanocobalamin to Methylcobalamin.
Our B12 (Methylcobalamin)
Methylcobalamin, a form of vitamin B12 (also called Methyl B12), is available along with our special B1 (Benfotiamine) in the RHP® Nerve Support formula. Studies have shown this is the form of vitamin B12 that can be directly utilized by the body and is available in the quantities nutritionally needed by the body to help support healthy nerves in great daily supplements, such as those offered by Real Health Products.
OTHER IMPORTANT VITAMINS
Folic Acid
Folic acid is included in the formula as it helps improve circulation. Many people who have neuropathy also have bad circulation. Folic acid also works closely with vitamin B12 to help make red blood cells and help iron work properly in the body, in great daily supplements, such as those offered by Real Health Products.
Vitamin D3
Research shows that Vitamin D3 provides nutritional support for pain caused from neuropathy. One important, yet little known of the numerous functions of vitamin D, is the regulation of nervous system development and function. Vitamin D has also been found to have a neuroprotective effect.
Vitamin B2 & B6
Small amounts of riboflavin (vitamin B2) and vitamin B6 are included as cofactors of Methyl B12.
YOU HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE AND EVERYTHING TO GAIN.

What are the active ingredients in the RHP® Nerve Support Formula?
The two active ingredients are a special form of vitamin B1 called Benfotiamine, and a special form of vitamin B12 called Methylcobalamin (Methyl B12).
What is Benfotiamine?
Benfotiamine is a lipid (fat) soluble form of vitamin B1 (thiamine). It is found in very small quantities within roasted, crushed garlic and other vegetables such as onions, shallots, and leeks.
What is Methyl B12?
Methylcobalamin (called Methyl B12), is the form of vitamin B12 that can be directly utilized by the body. It is available in the RHP Nerve Support Formula in quantities nutritionally needed by the body to help repair itself. Methyl B12 can be taken orally and is immediately available to the body much like injectable vitamin B12.
Will ordinary Vitamin B1 and B12 work just as well?
No, they will not.
It has been known for some time that increased levels of Thiamine (vitamin B1) in the blood stream are very effective in supporting the nervous system.
Unfortunately, the oral intake of water-soluble vitamin B1 does not greatly increase the levels of B1 in the blood stream. Previously, the way that blood stream levels of B1 were increased was through periodic intravenous feeding or through injections every few weeks.
The reason that methods like this had to be used is that Thiamine (sometimes spelled Thiamin), like all of the B vitamins, is water-soluble. Thiamine cannot be stored in the body and flushes out within 4 to 5 hours. Oral intake of Thiamine over 5 mg results in greatly reduced bioavailability and immediate flushing from the body (this is why urine frequently turns yellow when taking larger doses of B vitamins).
The most common type of vitamin B12 used in vitamin supplements is called Cyanocobalamin. Taking Cyanocobalamin can result in absorption of as little as 1/2 of 1 percent of the amount taken, which makes it almost impossible to get enough vitamin B12.
Additionally, the body must convert the Cyanocobalamin (which cannot be used by the body) to a form of vitamin B12 the body can use called Methylcobalamin. Unfortunately, as the body gets older it starts losing this ability to convert Cyanocobalamin to Methylcobalamin.
Are Benfotiamine and Methyl B12 Safe?
There are numerous clinical trials and studies where Benfotiamine or Methyl B12 have been used, often in far, far higher amounts than contained in our product.
To date, there have been no reports of adverse reactions or toxic effects. Additionally, there are no reports of adverse effects or negative interactions between Benfotiamine or Methyl B12 and other supplements or doctor prescribed medications.
The FDA has set no upper limits on the use and intake of vitamin B1 or vitamin B12.
Are there any risks associated with taking the RHP® Nerve Support Formula?
As with any nutritional product, it is important to follow the instructions that are provided to you when you order the RHP® Nerve Support Formula.
If you have any questions about interactions with any other drugs, vitamins, supplements, or therapy, you should consult with your physician.
What do health care professionals say about Benfotiamine?

Any in depth study on the web will produce physicians, naturopaths, neurologists, optometrists, chiropractors, etc. who have seen or know of the effectiveness of Benfotiamine and Methyl B12 in supporting the nerves of the body and the nervous system as a whole.

B1 (Thiamine)
It has been known for some time that increasing the levels of Thiamine (vitamin B1) in the blood stream is a very effective way to help build healthy nerves and provide nutritional support for those who have symptoms of neuropathy.
The reason that methods like this had to be used is that Thiamine (sometimes spelled Thiamin), like all of the B vitamins, is water-soluble.
B12 (Cyanocobalamin)
Vitamin B-12 is necessary in human health for the formation of proteins and red blood cells, and for the functioning of the nervous system. It is vitally important in maintaining the health of the outer sheathing (protective covering, also called the myelin sheath) that surrounds nerve cells.
However, Vitamin B12 is found only in animal products; meat, fish, eggs, and dairy products. Most people’s diets do not contain sufficient Vitamin B12, and so, over the years, the amount of B12 diminishes in the body.
