Why do the capsules/tablets look different?

Specific ingredients have a specific color, but when they are natural those colors can vary from batch to batch. For example, the methylcobalamin in the Nerve Support Formula can sometimes be an orangy-yellow and sometimes it is more pink. This will affect the color of the powder inside the capsules. Each and every ingredient is always tested for accuracy, potency and strength before it is ever used in our products.

Why Don't You List Expiration Dates on Your Supplements?

Real Health Products uses a date of manufacture (the date the product in the bottle was produced) rather than an expiration date for most of its dietary supplement products. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the agency that oversees the manufacture and labeling of dietary supplements, does not require an expiration date on dietary supplements, but requires that if one is used, it must be supported by stability testing data. However, as these regulations are still evolving, FDA has yet to define what they consider to be adequate data.

While Real Health Products has some stability data on our products, the company has chosen to label with date of manufacture in order to comply with this provision of FDA’s current Good Manufacturing Practices as it is written today. As FDA refines its regulatory definitions and enforcement protocols, we will continue to evaluate our position and make any appropriate changes.

Dietary supplements are generally shelf stable (not perishable) products. When produced using current good manufacturing practices and stored according to label recommendations, there is little risk that they would develop any unsafe attributes over time. All Real Health Products products are produced by qualified, cGMP-compliant manufacturers. We require, and will continue to require, that our manufacturers develop and formulate products to maintain their quality for the expected timeframe.

In most cases, products are considered stable at full potency for a minimum of two years from the manufacture date.

At Real Health Products, one of our primary goals has always been to provide our customers with the freshest product possible. The use of manufacture date does not represent any change or difference in the quality of Real Health Products brand supplements. Our products continue to meet and exceed the most stringent quality standards.

Frequently Asked Questions Nerve Support

What are the active ingredients in the RHP® Nerve Support Formula?

The two main active ingredients are a special form of vitamin B1 called Benfotiamine, and a special form of vitamin B12 called Methylcobalamin (Methyl B12).

What is Benfotiamine?

Benfotiamine is a lipid (fat) soluble form of vitamin B1 (thiamine). It is found in very small quantities within roasted, crushed garlic and other vegetables such as onions, shallots, and leeks.

What is Methylcobalamin (Methyl B12)?

Methylcobalamin (called Methyl B12), is the form of vitamin B12 that can be directly utilized by the body. It is available in the RHP Nerve Support Formula in quantities nutritionally needed by the body to help repair itself. Methyl B12 can be taken orally and is immediately available to the body much like injectable vitamin B12.

What is the difference between the Nerve Support and Extra Strength Nerve Support Formulas?

One capsule of the RHP Extra Strength Nerve Support Formula contains the same  amount of ingredients as two capsules of RHP Nerve Support Formula.
