The Problem – Getting the Right Nutrition

The key to supporting healthy blood sugar levels is proper diet, balanced nutrition and moderate exercise. But what do we mean by nutrition?

Nutrition is the process of providing or obtaining the food necessary for growth, health and good condition. The Glucose Support Formula fits right in – the addition of precise nutrition.

Essential Nutrition

Nutrition is essential to life. We all know that it would be best to receive the nutrients we need from the food we eat.

However, in our modern world this has become impractical and just about impossible. Modern food processing, fast food, poor food choices, and unbalanced diets contribute to inadequate intake of vital nutrients. Many of today’s modern “foods” can actually rob the body of essential vitamins and minerals that it needs to support healthy blood sugar levels.

If you can’t get all the nutrition you need from food, you must supplement your diet with vitamins and minerals.

After taking this product for a month, 2 capsules at night and 1 in the morning, my fasting blood sugar has been close to the 120 range and sometimes closer to 100. Truthfully, I’m not always perfect with my dietary choices, but this product seems to support a better range of values for me.

From S.C.

I’ve been using this product for over 4 months now. It works really well – my A1C lowered. Sure I could find something cheaper but I trust this unique formula.

“I started a low carb diet and several supplements including the Glucose Support Supplement at 3 pills a day. Real Health Products encouraged me to stay in contact with my doctor who continued supporting me; she said that she had never seen such an improvement.

“I am very happy to recommend the glucose support formula. Also this company really cares about each customer and they go the extra mile to help you!

The RHP® Glucose Support Formula

Glucose-Support-Supplement-FactsChromium (GTF Chromium from Yeast)

Chromium (GTF Chromium from Yeast) is backed by years of clinical research on its bioavailability, efficacy and safety.

Chromium has been found to be an essential nutrient for glucose metabolism (the set of chemical reactions that happen in living organisms to maintain life) and maintaining normal blood sugar levels.

Chromium also provides health benefits for carbohydrate and lipid metabolism.

Banaba Leaf Extract – Also Known as Corosolic Acid
(Lagerstroemia Speciosa)

Banaba leaf extract is a time-tested and traditional herb in Asia.

Its active ingredient is known as corosolic acid. Corosolic acid activates the “shuttle” that attracts glucose molecules, which are then transported into cells for energy, thus supporting healthy blood glucose levels.

Gymnema Sylvestre

Gymnema sylvestre, an Ayurvedic herb, has been used in India for over 2,000 years.

In recently published research from 2004, scholars at Georgetown University Medical Center, Washington D.C. showed Gymnema sylvestre to be supportive of normal body weight and normal blood lipid levels. The herb has been used since the sixth century BC to support healthy and normal blood sugar levels in the body.

White Kidney Bean Extract
(Phaseolus vulgaris)

Phaseolamin or Phaseolin is one protein derived from white kidney bean which has been researched extensively in America, Italy, Japan and Norway.

How does Phaseolamin work? During the digestive process, your body converts carbohydrates, found in starchy foods such as potatoes and pasta, into sugar. Your body does this by breaking down the carbohydrate molecule with alpha amylase, an enzyme that is found in saliva and is also produced in the pancreas.

These sugar calories are either burned off, through exercise, or stored as fat in fat cells for future use. Unfortunately, inactivity means that these stored fat cells accumulate. The result is weight gain.

Phaseolamin, a nutritional ingredient extracted from kidney beans, helps “neutralize” the digestive enzyme alpha amylase before it can convert starch into glucose, which then turns into fat. Essentially, it allows the carbohydrates to pass through the system, possibly with less caloric intake.

Indian Kino Extract
(Pterocarpus marsupium)

Indian Kino, an Ayurvedic herb, also known as Pterocarpus marsupium, is a tree which commonly grows in western and southern parts of India and Sri Lanka.

Pterocarpus marsupium has been shown to protect beta cells (beta cells are cells that are located in the pancreas), as well as support healthy blood glucose levels. It reduces glucose absorption from the digestive tract.

Biotin

Biotin is a water soluble B-vitamin essential for assisting in metabolism of fats, carbohydrates and protein. Biotin is essential for healthy cell growth.

Intestinal bacteria produce a small amount of biotin, which may be absorbed and contribute to daily vitamin and mineral needs. However, in people who have poor intestinal health, biotin levels may be less than optimum.

Biotin daily supplementation supports healthy glucose metabolism, healthy glucose utilization, and healthy glucose tolerance.

Vanadium

Vanadium is a trace mineral found in a wide variety of foods. Research suggests that vanadium supports normal blood sugar levels, normal insulin activity in the body, and promotes and supports healthy cholesterol levels.

Vitamin K2

In nature, vitamin K is found in two forms: vitamin K1 (phylloquinone) in leafy, green vegetables, and vitamin K2 (menaquinone) in organ meats, egg yolks, and dairy products.

Vitamin K (as Vitamin K2 MK-7) has been shown to support the arteries, the heart, and healthy blood glucose levels.

Vitamin D3

There has been a lot of recent interest in the role of Vitamin D3 (often referred to as Vitamin D) in the human body. This often overlooked vitamin is actually manufactured by the body if we get enough sunshine, exercise, and calcium in our diet.

However, people who live in higher latitudes in either the northern or southern hemispheres do not often get sufficient sunlight exposure, especially during the late Fall or Winter months. As a result, many of us remain deficient in vitamin D3 throughout much of our lives.

Exercise and calcium from our diet are also required to manufacture vitamin D3, so that further complicates things. Most of us do not do enough exercise and fail to eat calcium rich foods like vegetables and/or dairy products, or oily fish.

Until recently, medical understanding of vitamin D3 has been limited to knowledge about bone health and calcium absorption. However studies over the past decade have now shown vitamin D3 has actions in the body unrelated to bones, including assisting in normal immune function, normal blood vessel health, normal organ function (including the pancreas).

Magnesium

Magnesium is the fourth most abundant mineral in the body and is essential to good health.

Approximately 50% of total body magnesium is found in bone. The other half is found predominantly inside cells of body tissues and organs. Only 1% of magnesium is found in blood, but the body works very hard to keep blood levels of magnesium constant. Magnesium is absorbed in the intestines and then transported through the blood to cells and tissues.

Most soil throughout the world is deficient in magnesium. Thus, most foods today, even those supposed to have a high content of magnesium, are low themselves.

Magnesium is needed for more than 300 biochemical reactions in the body. It helps maintain normal muscle and nerve function, keeps heart rhythm steady, supports a healthy immune system, and keeps bones strong. Magnesium also helps support healthy blood sugar levels and helps support healthy energy metabolism.

Molybdenum

Molybdenum is an essential trace mineral, needed in very small quantities by almost all life forms. Although it is just a trace mineral, meaning it is present in our bodies in very low quantities, it does perform many important functions in the human body (it is found in the bones, liver, and kidneys).

Serious research into the importance of molybdenum has been carried out only in the last 20 years or so. Evidence shows molybdenum is needed for optimal health, and lack of it triggers certain health problems.

Molybdenum plays a role in a number of important bio-chemical processes, like waste processing in the kidneys, development of the nervous system, and the activation of enzymes that are involved in breaking down food to produce energy.

Zinc

Zinc is needed by over 300 enzyme systems in the body. Some of those are involved with the metabolism of blood sugar. Adequate zinc is required for the healthy function of your pancreas so as to help support healthy blood sugar levels in an optimal way.

Vitamin A

Vitamin A is an antioxidant. Antioxidants, as their name implies, help to prevent the damaging effects of oxygen and other harmful substances on your body’s tissues. It also plays a vital role in bone growth, reproduction and immune system health. It is a vitamin that is essential to healthy vision.
