Why Our Vitamin B-Complex Plus is Unique

Our B-Complex Plus is a comprehensive, whole-food, multi-nutrient formula providing delivery of vitamins B1, B2, B6, B12, folic acid and biotin.

This B-Complex group of vitamins comes in a highly bioavailable form to boost bodily absorption and utilization within your cells. Compared to most “food based” formulations, as well as synthetic B-Complex, ours goes to the root of cellular energy production which is one of the most important functions of the B-complex vitamins; also known as the “spark plugs” of our body.

RHP® B-Complex Plus is an ideal supplement to fortify your everyday lifestyle. Research shows that a broad range of different fruits and vegetables have a specific ratio of B vitamins and herbs that exist inherently within nature. This same ratio is delivered to you in our complete B-Complex Plus formula.

The Plus in this B-Complex formula are several of nature’s adaptogenic herbs. (Adaptogens are a unique group of herbal ingredients used to improve the health of your adrenal system, the system that’s in charge of managing your body’s hormonal response to stress.)

Specifically, Ashwaghanda Extract helps nourish and maintain optimal nervous and immune system health by promoting healthy stress response, positive mood, optimum energy levels and overall immune system function.

Rhodiola Rosea Extract is an important stress-relieving botanical and Holy Basil Extract has been traditionally used to support immunity, healthy stress response and to support the body’s natural detoxification process.

The RHP® B-Complex Plus is a perfect product to take along with the Nerve Support Formula. The adaptogenic herbs in this formula are extremely beneficial for the entire nervous system.

What about the quality of our ingredients? The human body is designed to utilize nutrients from plants. The closer to the plant source in the food chain, the greater the benefit in terms of nutrient utility. Products consumed on a daily basis should be of the highest quality.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the active ingredients in the RHP® Nerve Support Formula?
The two active ingredients are a special form of vitamin B1 called Benfotiamine, and a special form of vitamin B12 called Methylcobalamine (Methyl B12).
What is Benfotiamine?
Benfotiamine is a lipid (fat) soluble form of vitamin B1 (thiamine). It is found in very small quantities within roasted, crushed garlic and other vegetables such as onions, shallots, and leeks.
What is Methyl B12?
Methylcobalamine (called Methyl B12), is the form of vitamin B12 that can be directly utilized by the body. It is available in the RHP Nerve Support Formula in quantities nutritionally needed by the body to help repair itself. Methyl B12 can be taken orally and is immediately available to the body much like injectable vitamin B12.
Will ordinary Vitamin B1 and B12 work just as well?
No, they will not.

It has been known for some time that increased levels of Thiamine (vitamin B1) in the blood stream are very effective in supporting the nervous system. Unfortunately, the oral intake of vitamin B1 does not greatly increase the levels of B1 in the blood stream. Previously, the way that blood stream levels of B1 were increased was through periodic intravenous feeding or through injections every few weeks.

The reason that methods like this had to be used is that Thiamine (sometimes spelled Thiamin), like all of the B vitamins, is water-soluble. Thiamine cannot be stored in the body and flushes out within 4 to 5 hours. Oral intake of Thiamine over 5 mg results in greatly reduced bioavailability and immediate flushing from the body (this is why urine frequently turns yellow when taking larger doses of B vitamins).

The most common type of vitamin B12 used in vitamin supplements is called Cyanocobalamine. Taking Cyanocobalamine can result in absorption of as little as 1/2 of 1{1484f3e50043c16698cc4bb64e12d251cc621d94ba9a0c7b684292b9db1af8e8} of the amount taken, which makes it almost impossible to get enough vitamin B12.

Additionally, the body must convert the Cyanocobalamine (which cannot be used by the body) to a form of vitamin B12 the body can use called Methylcobalamine. Unfortunately, as the body gets older it starts losing this ability to convert Cyanocobalamine to Methylcobalamine.

Are Benfotiamine and Methyl B12 Safe?
There are numerous clinical trials and studies where Benfotiamine or Methyl B12 have been used, often in far, far higher amounts than contained in our product. To date, there have been no reports of adverse reactions or toxic effects.

Additionally, there are no reports of adverse effects or negative interactions between Benfotiamine or Methyl B12 and other supplements or doctor prescribed medications.

The FDA has set no upper limits on the use and intake of vitamin B1 or vitamin B12.

Are there any risks associated with taking the RHP® Nerve Support Formula?
As with any nutritional product, it is important to follow the instructions that are provided to you when you order the RHP® Nerve Support Formula.

If you have any questions about interactions with any other drugs, vitamins, supplements, or therapy, consult with your physician.

What do health care professionals say about Benfotiamine?
Numerous health care professionals know of the benefits of Benfotiamine or Methyl B12. Any in depth study on the web will produce physicians, naturopaths, neurologists, optometrists, chiropractors, etc. who have seen or know of the effectiveness of Benfotiamine and Methyl B12 in supporting the nerves of the body and the nervous system as a whole.
What is the shipping time for the product?

Cultured Ingredients – A Different Kind of Vitamin and Mineral

The vitamins and minerals in the RHP® B-Complus Plus are produced using proprietary processes.

The minerals (and Vitamin D) are produced by feeding minerals to live yeast organisms or live lactobacillus cultures (the kind of nutritional yeast which is used to make bread or the kind of lactobacillus cultures which are used to make yogurt).

This is the same process performed by all plants where they take up minerals from the soil through their roots. Once the minerals enter the plant cells they become part of the living structure and are turned into food. It is in this form that minerals can be more effectively absorbed and utilized in our bodies.

The vitamins are produced by taking USP vitamins in liquid form and then weaving them together on a molecular level with the appropriate protein components.

Then they are integrated into a vegetable, fruit or yeast concentrate that has a natural relationship with that vitamin.

For example: B Vitamins are in yeast concentrate, Vitamin C is in citrus concentrate, Vitamin A is in carrot concentrate, etc.

Isolated USP vitamins and minerals may be partially absorbed, but when they enter the blood stream there is no mechanism to guide their delivery.

The body has a harder time recognizing isolated USP vitamins and minerals as food. The human body is designed to utilize nutrients from plants. The closer to the plant source in the food chain, the greater benefit in terms of nutrient utility.

When a person eats a plant or part of a plant for nourishment, the nutrients, including vitamins and minerals are integrated or imbedded to proteins, carbohydrates and lipids in a complex food matrix.

The nutrients contained the RHP® B-Complex Plus, because they are in a food matrix, are highly bioavailable to the body and this results in a higher rate of utilization.

A bottle of the RHP® B-Complex Plus which contains 60 tablets (a 30-day supply) is on sale for $19.70, (a $10.00 dollar savings!) from $29.70.
